it there someone who disassembled rear locking diff?

I have 4.4 TDV8 with locking diff, wchich needs to be fixed.
Now because, it is really hard to find 2.76 locking e-diff even brand new i was thinking to buy open diff in good condition as well e-diff rom 5.0 s/c and mix parts together.

The question for you is: Is it possible to replace crown wheel and pinion from open diff with different ratio to locking diff?
I'm looking for some pictures or information before i spend money for parts and start disassembling.

You will need to source a new crush tube for the pinion.

I considered doing the same for my 4.4 TDV8 which only had an open diff, but I eventually found an e-diff from a 4.4.
