Towing Equipment - Towing Prep ROW [028BR]

I have been reading the build sheet for the TDV8 Westminster I am going to buy (hopefully) on saturday and I am wondering what " Towing Equipment - Towing Prep ROW [028BR]" means.

I think you'll find it means that the loom for fitting to the towbar electrics has been installed and is ready to plug and play a suitable towbar kit.

Theere should be a gray socket on the rear bulkhead of the spare wheel well on the nearside.

You may need to tell the car that the towbar has been fitted if you are going to do so**, unless the car is coming to you with a 'bar already fitted.

** stops the reversing proximity alarm sounding when reverse is engaged with a trailer attached. Cheers

All late L322s had the towing ECU fitted as standard and are "plug and play" with the correct loom.

You'll also need to tell the car through a dealer or IID tool if 7 pin or 13 pin electrics are fitted, as the late L322s monitor the trailer electrics for bulbs out. Not doing so will likely chuck up errors. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
