HQ Aero Blades doh correct fitting RHD

One of the first jobs I did on the FF over 3 years ago was the change the old split wiper blades for a set of HQ Aero.

and for 3 years I've been driving around with a VERY annoying wiper judder, Evil or Very Mad

I finally decided to look further into this problem and discovered that..

Despite fitting perfectly to the car, the fixed fitting on the blade is default for a LHD not a RHD.

Thus the blades have been upside down and juddering for 3 Years!!

5 mins on the bench, gently prise off the fixed fitting and rotate 180° snap back on and refit to the car.

Voila, now the blades are the correct way up, with the spolier lip to the top and best of all.

No judder.

Although a right prat, I'm chuffed, and it only took me 3 years for it to dawn on me. Whistle

I actually found the annoying wiper judder and buzzing sound is due to aerodynamics. Most vehicles with factory fit aero blades have wind deflectors on them.

The 2011 on vehicles also have wind deflectors on the arms. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Yes I agree, but what I had not taken into account was that the attachment fitting on these blades, was factory attached for LHD vehicles and not RHD vehicles.

Hence the blades were in effect upside down on the arms.
