Yea the only wire cutting you’d need to do would be to the speakers if you were bypassing the dsp amp Current stable:

I’ve just installed a Navtool box in my L322 and it’s amazing. All fits in the back by the sat nav so n messing about with the dash. Retails access to all factory things like 4x4 and radio etc but adds CarPlay and Android Auto. Takes about half an hour to fit and the hardest part is getting the aux cable through from the back of the car.

I have one of those nav's but without an amp it is useless, if i can find a DSP Amp i could connect and do much the same.

The icebox one I had linked to, there's no extra long wires to fit, and as far as I can see all the original amp, steering wheel controls etc all work fine.

i was wondering, am about to install the sucker, i plugged the fibre optic to the one that came behind the old head unit and the power cable to the one behind the glove box. but ive got no sound or steering controls. am guessing the fibre optic loop is broken. did you use the loop back cables anywhere? cheers Its actually a sport Not anymore, 4.4 TDV8 now |
