Family dispute in need of settlement - most comfortable car | |
Rules: any form of subconscious bias is strictly forbidden. (Conscious bias is, of course, perfectly allowable)
So…..
Who has the the comfortable car. Of course each family member insists it is their car or the Jaaaaaaaag.
As all are JLR products I thought a little market research would be scientifically valid
The contenders;
1) Mrs Seriously - MY2022 Evoque P300e AB - Windsor leather 18 way adjustable seats, steel springs, passive dampers (active not available on the PHEVj
2) Mr Seriously jnr (middle child 27) - 2012 Jag XJ 3.0d Portfolio - 18 way posh leather sporty seats, steel front and air rear springs, active dampers, 80k miles
3) Ms Seriously (youngest child 25) - 2014 FL2 Metropolis - 14way leather seats, steel springs, passive dampers, 36k miles
The contender
My 1 week owned 2007 L322 4.2 SC, 18 way Oxford leather (not very soft or supple as haven’t got to yet), air springs (work perfectly), passive dampers, ditchfinder 275/40 tyres, 141k miles, very dodgy looking service history (Chelsea LR dealer first 5 years then Halfords ever since ), bought blind no invoices for £5.3k. I believe at the time cheapest 2007 facelift non cat SC in UK
Now, clearly the whole family just sees it as a big, old, thirsty and scruffy bus.
I am hoping this objective and controlled study will reveal the truth
