Hi all - after my massive tear down and rebuild my mid level vents aren’t outputting anything either side or in the centre. You can hear the blower etc fine and if you direct to to feet it’s fine or windscreen it’s fine….

Any ideas? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

If you get the light illuminating on the switch when you press for mid level airflow, then I am assuming that the HVAC built in PCB is sending out a signal, then it is probably a sticking flap that is not moving. That's all I can think at the 'mo'

It may be worth spending a few minutes, repeatedly changing from screen to to lower and back etc to see if anything free's off.A big if - IF you can get to the unit try a lubricating spray and operate again. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

Face vents is probably the proper words

Where is the stepper motor and wiriing to it so I can lubricate and check for any issues? Current stable:
