Rather strange 18 inch wheels on my FF...

As well as the regular 19 inch wheels with summer tyres, my 2003 TD6 came with these rather strange 18 inch wheels with winter tyres. They have 235 65's on

Seems to drive ok with them, but I wonder if they are ok for the car? They'll get through next winter on the tread remaining but I'm wondering if I should re shod them after or look for another set of 19's?

Anyone know of their provenence/suitability?

They look like P38 wheels to me. I could be way off though. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Thanks guys, that's reassuring. Just checked the tread depth and think they've got a couple of winters left in them, even with winter tyres needing changing at 3mm tread depth, so glad to know they're to spec.

Don't use the car very much, but love it when I do.

I have a set of these too, fitted with General Grabbers for the winter .

Not strange. Those were the original 18" wheels fitted to the L322.
