Great to hear you found the issue and it is the EGR failed, a replacement will deffo cure it now, happy days Very Happy
You can as Dr Rob says above blank them off, but you need a good EGR valve to start with before doing this.
Also for what its worth I would change them both then your safe they will last a good while after. I did 80K in mine after changing them with no further issues Thumbs Up

ive orddered a pair @ £430

no point changing only one for next week the other to fit

the motor has done 140k so thats good for a pair , im sure its not been apart before
going to clean everything up today and they will be here tuesday
