carrying this code in my l322 tried replacing the front crash sensors no luck checked the two at the base of the b pillar seem in great shape. cant seem to find anything in the shop repair manual regarding this code any light shed on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of earth cables one in the nearside (passenger in the UK) footwell and another behind the airbox intake in engine compartment if they are not good can give all sorts of airbag faults - mine had passenger side frontal inoperable and the airbag light on it was the earth causing the problem -- might not be yours but worth a look hope it helps
