Hi all,

After push the stop button to shut down, it seems that the engines gives a convulsion or last "puff"with a rattel on the last seconds. It feels that the engine takes more time to stop than normal and simmer.

The motor management light is also visible on the dash and I got some EGR related faults.
Car drives normal. No problems at all.

This fault is different that the standard P041C and P040D:
P245A - Exhaust Gas recirculation cooler - bypass control ciruit

And these one but these are always in the fault list....
P041C - EGR temperature sensor B - circuit low
P040D - EGR temperature sensor A - circuit high

Hi paul here in ireland,im wondering did you get to the bottom of the fault as it happens my 2012 4.4 tdv8 as well,plus i have major oil in the intercooler.

The throttle plate closes on shut down to make sure the engine stops dead so if it’s running on a bit you could have an air leak on the intake side past the TB. The rubber joints on the plenum are known to fail so check for any oily mess around them. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

thats what i got an oilly mess,so bad it leaked into the altarnator at a cost of 600euro ill check those rubbers.

Lets see in the first week of July what problem creates fault P245A. The LR dealer will check.

when I had a red DPF warning, on the dash, the engine ran an extra second before shutting down etc. eventually I was able to force a regen, via IID tool, and it went, along with the red light.
