correct wiring in right trunk pocket...

Hi guys
i'm a newbee, but enthusiast so far (i only had a couple of problems in 4 months Laughing )
I love my FFRR (2012 TDV8 vogue left drive), and I'm slowly making minor upgrades : secondary battery, Full led update, ...
while doing so, I discovered a wealth of electronics in the trunk and especially these (highlighted in the picture).

what are they and are they correctly connected? I had to replug the cable between them, seemed quite hard to do.
I have noticed no changes in the car whatsoever (but do I know all that its capable of ? I don't think so)

there you have it
thanks for your help.
cheers "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"

The one on the right is the control box for the fuel burner heater, I think the top one is the antenna of my memory serves me correctly. You pair your remote for the fuel burning heater to that control box.

Thanks,
I see, it makes sense as the car was in germany for 10 years and obviously needed that fuel heating in winter...
is it a add-on ? something I could get rid of (living in bordeaux, we hardly have any snow ...) ?
or maybe be better of not touching Whistle ? "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"

Standard fitting on the diesel model. Just leave it in place. Won’t do any harm. John
