United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Corris Grey

The bottom half of the rear split tailgate is getting smaller and smaller, it's just going to end up being a large single tailgate at this rate just like all the other SUVs. Also not keen on the infotainment screen, now starting to look like the Mercs, VWs etc in that it looks like an afterthought just stuck on the dash -I always liked the integrated look of it on the L322 and L405. On the plus side, still looks great outside and rest of the interior cabin looks good also. Steve

Cheers Stan.

Saw the article, thought it would not get any replies, just to be an interesting read whilst peeps were munching on their breakfast this morning.
RRVSE, the lower tailgate section did look small to me, but the guy sitting on it does look like he's been eating a lot of pies Whistle

Is it getting smaller? By how many mm?

In the videos I have seen it still looks plenty big for sitting on. There's even the "event suite" now.

One thing I've noticed is that there are now two fabric covered panels on the inside of bottom tailgate.

See 7 minutes and 57 seconds in. L405 2016 - Supercharged V6 petrol 380hp

There is quite a lot of lower tailgate under the bottom of the upper tailgate, it looked about the usual width for sitting on to me. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Just looked at the photos again, maybe not shrunk as I first thought , might just be the angle of the shot. Still not keen on the screen though and I see the 'gearstick' has made a return. Steve
