As the Range Rover is recess cut into them and diamond cutting is 1/1000ths of an inch material removal they absolutely can be diamond cut.

My 2012 WM had the same. They are polished and then lacquered. Alas the finish is prone to getting 'runs' of corrosion under the lacquer. I had the first set replaced under the corrosion warranty when that happened, but it was not long before the second set started to go the same way. The sparkle silver painted alternative might be more durable, but if you like the look then i suspect you'll need to keep refurbishing them fairly regularly. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

As an example, here’s a company that performs this type of work - no connection whatsoever! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181591457667?_t...BMiKWA__9f |
