Drivers seat issue

Multi-way electric seat with the heating / cooling options. All motors work - up, down, forward, back - but seat only moves back a few inches now. Previously went waaay back. Checked to see if anything was physically blocking it from going further back it did not find anything. Thought maybe it was the ecu that controls the seat but no codes and per gap diagnostic no way to re-flash or program this particular ecu.

Check that the fasteners holding the rails are not loose, which could cause this fault as they would be 'out of parallel'

Someone else on here a while back, had a similar problem, could not find anything under the seat....until....they used a long camera probe, which found some coins under the seat. Also try raising the seat to full height then moving it back and to.
