Had this a few times when replacing seat base foams - if you cut the top ‘dome’ section off a 2 litre plastic fizzy drink bottle, and temporarily insert it into the ducting so it holds it in shape, you then gently heat the foam with a hot air gun & it will re-shape & set in place

Nice I bit the bullet as the topper was collapsed too but I will do as you say and keep as a spare in case I do the otherside Current stable:
