Seat foam replacement cost and question

Hi all - I embarked on a journey to replace my seat foam. At a cost of £180 for a block of foam i thought this was a bit steep but went ahead. I’ve now torn it all down to find out that the ducting and the top foam seem to be bonded to my original. My ducting is a little collapsed but worked, I’ve spoken to lr and it’s going to be another £150’for the ducting and topper!

Before I pull the trigger on this rather expensive job again, can the dieting ducting be opened up again where it seems to have started to collapse in the middle- seems very pricey for a small bit of foam a4
Sized that was working. Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Had this a few times when replacing seat base foams - if you cut the top ‘dome’ section off a 2 litre plastic fizzy drink bottle, and temporarily insert it into the ducting so it holds it in shape, you then gently heat the foam with a hot air gun & it will re-shape & set in place Thumbs Up

Go easy on the heat though, or it will melt the foam Shocked Shocked
