Sdv8 coolant

Have searched, not much info available , book says havoline xlc, but I need some today, would the pink oat halfords be ok ?

Yes, provided the car already has the pink/orange stuff in it.

Just make sure not to mix the pink and green/blue coolant.

Just caught the halfords before they shut , looks like I might have a leak ffs . Towing next week with the caravan too, ffs.

If it's not too bad a leak, just keep an eye on it and top up regularly until you get the chance to fully investigate where the coolant is going.

will do, Thumbs Up bought some havoline online for the store cupboard too. Might have just been my shaky hand when I was filling it up last night though Mr. Green
