Front brakes!! Wow!

Had a quote from Duckwoths for front brake pads, disks and a sensor…..£450 Shocked

Then tried a local indie who quoted £690 +vat fitted Shocked

I changed the rears myself last year which was pretty easy are the fronts the same? 2010 defender utility

They’re as easy to change as any other pads / discs, nothing special about the callipers or pins.
OEM parts are expensive but there are after market ones that are reasonable quality and price.

The fronts are quite time consuming, mainly because it takes a while to work the pins out and then clean up any corrosion. But otherwise they are easy to work on Thumbs Up we did ours on the drive with genuine parts no problem. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I have just done mine all round, fitted Jurid pads, they make the oem pads, it’s printed on the back of the Land Rover pads.
Fantastic and cheap.
