Rear inner arch -L322

I’m in the process of having the rear arches refurbed due to the dreaded tin worm - problem is I can’t find a inner arch from any supplier! Only the OSR is available whereas the NSR is now obsolete….

Car panels com have the outer arches should you with to purchase them - relatively cheap. But the work involved in manufacturing a complete inner arch from scratch has my body shop man wincing somewhat…..

Does anybody have any advice? (Don’t say buy a land cruiser)

I had the same issue recently and I just kept an eye on eBay for anyone breaking an L322 with decent sills and arches.

I managed to pickup rust free sills for £100 per side (luckily from the same colour car as mine too). Add to this the welder cutting out the old and welding in the new at £320 it comes out a hell of a lot cheaper than the £1800 per side for a car restoration places quote I was given to create from scratch.

Cheers Thumbs Up

So some good news - I have collected the part from Land Rover (part no. ALK760020) and shown this to the body shop who have told me this isn't really the section they need.......doh.

So having rang LR again, I explained that i need the inner arch but the section that is closest to the outside of the car (if this makes sense) rather than the section closest to the subframe/suspension. Its best described as an easter egg - they split in half - well, i had bought the wrong half as the inner half of the arches is actually salvageable.

They do have them and better for it they have both in stock! Beware these parts are dwindling and until an aftermarket supplier starts to churn these parts out, we may start to suffer as the enthusiast collective!

Part no.s LR019651 (NSR)
LR020268 (OSR)

I used carpanels.com to get the outer arch (to be sprayed) so heres hoping they can salvage the car!

Pictures to follow....

Excellent news too hear mate. Most importantly, what's the cost on them
