Left foot accelerator - anyone amputees had this mod done?

Bit of a strange query - but as a right leg amputee I'm just curious if any current forum members have a similar issue and have converted their cars to a second swicthable left foot accelerator pedal?

Aiming to get an early 4.4V8 L322 sometime this year.
I already have a specialist box of tricks that allow you to switch between the original pedal and a second BMW accelerator pedal. I'm presuming that by removing the right-footrest there will enough room to fabricate a way to mount the pedal.
Obviously you can get this done by a professional conversion company but as I'm buying a early fattie on a budget, it'll be DIY all the way. Smile

My best mate had this done professionally on a Peugeot a few years back, the pedal was effectively a flip down from a bar under the dash . Shouldn’t be too difficult, but the accelerator is effectively a micro switch under the pedal , there’s a plastic tube behind the pedal.

I’ve seen an L322 with a hand throttle conversion, but sadly no pictures or info.

Look up BAS Vehicle Adaptations, Scott Bradley.

He's completed adaptations on anything from Ferrari's, Bentley's eye

Should be able to advise at least😉 Regards
