l322 2003 SDD JLR cannot talk to ECU's in car

I have a 2003 l322 range it developed a suspension problem after a front air bag burst, after I replaced it I used one of these eas suspension reset tools , bad move , it hasn't been driven since .
the whole system went mad
Ive had the usual air suspension inactive showing on dash speed limiting etc . First I bought a Creader v11+ to see the fault it shows average height limit activated but doesn't go up compressor runs for 8-10 secs shuts down .
I have installed shredder valves on front legs and one on compressor line in boot
by opening valves using power at eas ecu I can raise the car but cannot control it automatically
I have just purchased a SDD JLR laptop but it cannot talk to the ECU's I don't know why because the C reader can
Anybody got any ideas?

Probably a useless idea, but have you tried carrying out a hard reset with the battery connections, seem to remember other people doing that, for various reasons, at least it won't cost anything to do.
Plus remember to then carry out a steering 'lock to lock' to reset the steering angle sensor.

As for the JLR laptop not talking to the system, I have no idea, I use a Icarsoft device.
