I’m struggling with that one!
I followed a FF up the M6 not long ago in medium traffic and he was obviously using Adaptive CC to stay behind the vehicle in front as his brake lights were flashing like indicators. Since realising this I never use CC when there is much traffic about.
I find that with these “driver aids” you have to concentrate more than doing the driving yourself.
I find there is a lot of technology that is trying to find a use which in my book is bass ackwards.

I have ACC on mine and I don't like it at all. It brakes too hard and frequently brakes when overtaking a vehicle as it goes round a bend. Don't know if it has queue assist but have never had the bottle to test it.

Couldn’t agree more - if you can’t be bothered to ‘drive’ your own car, get a chauffeur or a taxi, both options likely to be a safer choice.

so you haven't hammered up behind a car with the distance set to minimum to see if it works.. let's just say it brakes like fnck.... naturally tested whilst following the wife....

i would never trust this voodoo stuff...if i crash i want to do it on my own accord.. ... - .- -.

I use ACC sometimes, but not if traffic is busy. Not sure I’d trust it to brake to a dead stop. I know a few have found Queue Assist in the CCF file on the later L322s…. Obviously they never had it from factory, so probably not tested. Some have enabled it….. brave…..

I’ve activated it, hardly use it. It does bring the car to a stop and holds itself on the brakes, but you do have to press the accelerator to make it go again and it doesn’t kick in again until it reaches about 20 mph. Good on motorway, dual carriageway but, pants in town, although it works, more hassle than just ACTUALLY driving yourself.

I don't particularly like ACC either, as so many people drive erratically, the last thing you want is your car responding. But you can turn off the adaptive function when you're on the motorway and I do like it in stop/start or low speed traffic. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Not really a fan, in particular queue assist isn’t smooth enough to not be annoying.

I hated the ACC when I first bought the car, but use it quite a lot, especially cruising through France, yes it has its moments on bends etc, but it’s ok after a while & getting used to it ( about a year) .

I did get lamparded on here when I said how handy it was tucking behind a large truck and slipstreaming, long stretches of 50 mph road works & is ideal. . The two second rule before everyone jumps on me again.

Q assist, again from time to time , especially after hitting slow slow stop stop slow traffic on a long journey, otherwise I don’t bother. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
