Part numbers which are VIN dependent

Was looking for the part number…
And then I saw a guide which said part number if VIN is up to 6A999999
And then a different part number if VIN is after 7A000001

I look in my V5, and before the A I don’t have a 6 or a 7
I have 3BA34……

Am I up to 6A, or after 7A?

https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/rear-sus...-290-c.asp

For example.
I have the my11 4.4TDV8

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Cairns Blue

Check the actual VIN number looking at the plate you can see through the windscreen (from the outside looking in near front of dashboard) or the one in the engine compartment (probably near the strut top)>
The logbook doesn't show the full VIN

PS You should be well after 7A the number is the model year of the car 7 = 2007 model year Paul,

1A is 2001 MODEL YEAR, not year of registration

Went all the way upto 9A for 2009, then for 2010, changed to AA, BA is 2011, CA is 2012 etc Thumbs Up

Thank you Mikey

I have BA which makes sense for a MY11

VIN number is 17 digits / letters long
The V5 VIN and the one stamped on the car should always match
Otherwise your car is dodgy / cloned / ringer etc.
