United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Barolo Black
Brake Service Kit 4.4 tdv8 Brembo

Hi everyone,
I have a sticking FR brake calliper and just wanting to ask if anyone has done a rebuild or service on there’s before to cure this?
Is there a service kit or parts available? Pistons, seals etc?
They are the larger 6pot brembo calliper on my 4.4 tdv8.

Thanks

I got a quote for this previously from Brake Caliper Specialists Ltd. It's £180 to refurb the front Brembo, including shot blast, new paint, new pistons, seals and nipple extraction and replacement. Maltings 4x4 sell their own reproduction for £335 (which is what I had done because I only have 1 car and needed it on the road).

All I can say is that I tried to refurb one of the rear calipers but the pistons get so stuck, there's no way anything other than hundreds of PSI of air or hydraulic pressure will get it out. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
