Good evening everyone, so the satnav on the RR keeps scratching the disc and then coming up with CD reader fault not a map dvd. I take the disc out, polish the scratches out of it, re-insert the disc and all's well.....till the next time.
I've seen on historical posts about somewhere that referbs the readers in Grtr Manchester, which is local to me but can't find out who there refering to.
Before anyone says why am I bothering repairing it, due to having more up to date systems on your phone, "I" quite agree with that, however, I don't drive the RR and the other half who does argues if it's there then I want it working. So for the quiet life I'm looking to get it fixed.
I know I could look for a working second hand one, but I doubt there would be a great deal of monetary difference in getting this one referbed to buying a used one.
