i Changed the fan firday using this video on my 2012 4-5 hours not to hard realy if you watch the vid and take your time, id fist check to see if the fan spins easy by removing the pollen filter housing turniing the ignition on, turn fan on this opens the outside air flaps you will see the fan running and also be able to hear if the squeek is indeed coming from the fan, turn ignition off and the flaps stay open a short while so you can feel the fan to see how easily it moves.

whoa what did you have to cut? I followed the video undid the clips then the thee bolts that held the fan and then just wiggled the fan out. |

ah just watched your video. when you take out the two middle clip on plastic vent tubes you can also take out the ones on each side when you take out those that whole jeep grill looking piece also unscrews and comes out which means you can take the fan out move it towards the back of the car turn it sideways and it comes out. |

Surely if you followed the video you must have cut something as the fan won’t come out due to the cable tray and the obsolete impbaliser bracket 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 2006 Discovery 3 HSE 260k miles and still going strong with a new owner |

It died. Went to go out in the car on a cold frosty morning, so used the FBH to defrost the car… but when I went to get into the car I found it to still be frosty.

yep nearly there the two vents below come off and the facia with the start stop button comes off then the plastic tubes just pull out, might come out easier if you squeeze them lengthways? then the jeep grill type thing unscrews the hardest screw is the one on the right as you look at it. how are your hands looking? then three spring clips and the front panel of the fan folds towards you and comes out |
