I agree with you Jaycee in the Range Rover. My back doesn’t like me doing it either with the weight of the wheels etc. I did do it once, and whilst it is just as easy as on any car it is harder work.

Only disadvantage I find is that getting a garage to do it they like to supply the parts; so it’s stock, or cheap euro car parts crap. I’m glad I’m now friendly with a local performance custom shop, and they acccept my quality parts, but isn’t cheap like the usual high street ones. Even when supplying my own parts 🤣

I replaced mine with Ferodo pads, they are fine but they chuck out a lot of dust, my front wheels only look clean for a couple of hundred miles.

Decent discs will have a min thickness measurement stamped around the rim... Easily checked with a set of gauges... Thumbs Up
