My new 2007 4.2SC in need of some TLC

Passenger mirror is not working at all - no adjustment or powerfold. If you manually fold it there is obviously some breakages in there as it slides too far in both directions etc.

Is it best to just go for a new used mirror. I've seen some on ebay which look ok and are stated as auto-dimming but with non-dimming glass. Is it easy enough to change the glass over without breaking?

Also drivers side working OK except powerfold which starts to fold then goes back as if something blocking it. What should I be looking for here? Electrical or mechanical issue?

I've also seen on another thread that it is possible to get an additional module to fold mirrors on remote locking, but with no reference to which module is actually required. Can someone point me in the right direction on this.
