United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Exchange with the dealer (N London) - no demo cars as yet - they have showroom cars - all cars being delivered are dealer fixed spec cars not customer builds - my order is still in the holding pool waiting to be slotted

I suspect that delivery times will shorten. According to my dealer very much slower and so far one cancelled order due to personal circumstances.
I suspect there is a sh one t economic storm coming & there will be a fall out.

A friend of a friend ‘’’’’’allegedly’’’’’’’ have had their two delivered !!!! Mr and Mrs versions.

The dealer also said petrol can’t be built as some parts are coming from the Ukraine Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Great News at last!

A quick update, I had a call from my dealer, Marshalls in Ipswich to say my New L460 is being delivered on July 8th.

As I mentioned before, I ordered it the day after launch day, so hopefully things are speeding up somewhat.

According to my dealer, the more highly specified cars are going to take an age to come through, no petrol models are available because of a shortage of parts.

I believe that because my order is just for a D300 HSE, with a few extras, sliding panoramic roof, tinted glass, fridge, towbar, upgraded Hi-fi, it's come through quicker than other models.

Obviously super excited, cannot wait to see the Belgravia Green, with the Caraway interior in the flesh! Very Happy Range Rover Westminster 2021 3.0 MHEV Eiger Grey

That is good to hear Tawny! Although it makes me wish I'd ordered a diesel rather than a PHEV.

Will you part ex your L405 with the dealer? I noticed that my WBAC valuation has dropped a little on mine recently. Wondering whether the inflated prices we've been seeing are starting to fall, or whether it's just a seasonal factor with Range Rovers. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

Hi, yes I am trading in my 2021 Westminster, at the last count the dealer is offering me roughly 12k over book price, because demand is so high.

Obviously figures won't be finalised until handover day. It was because of their decent offer that I ordered the L460 in the first place, I don't normally buy a new one each year!!

I do hope yours comes through soon, I have a friend who had a PHEV on order with no date in sight, asked the dealer to change it to a D300, he has been given a delivery date of late July, the dealer had indicated that his PHEV probably wouldn't come through until 2023.

Anyway, Good Luck! Range Rover Westminster 2021 3.0 MHEV Eiger Grey

Funny how people are hearing different things. My dealer isn't committing to anything, I'm guessing because he genuinely doesn't know.

There's a chap on Pistonheads who has ordered a PHEV and has been told by his dealer just last week to expect it June / July. Surely that can't be right, but who knows.

Having said I wish I'd ordered the diesel, I keep coming back to the fact that most of my journeys are relatively local, so the new PHEV with larger battery and 50 mile range is probably the perfect option for me. Delivery time aside! 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

Yes it is strange, I've heard plenty of different rumours too. I know of only one person locally who has a new L460, and it's a D350, and I believe a dealer stock car.

However he does purchase a new Rangie, every year, so a good customer, I suspect he was called as soon as they had anything available.

I think the PHEV sounds very exciting and certainly the one to have if most of your journeys are short, I really hope you hear from your dealer soon, it'll be worth the wait, I'm sure of that! Range Rover Westminster 2021 3.0 MHEV Eiger Grey

Very interesting. Do you know what the build date is?

She went into build last Monday, according to my dealer. Now I cannot vouch for that, but that's what I was told.

It feels very good to finally have a date though! Very Happy Range Rover Westminster 2021 3.0 MHEV Eiger Grey

Thanks

I'm expecting a build date soon so was just wondering what the lag time after that was.

Interesting - so that's the first PHEV we've had a confirmation for. That's prompted me to email my dealer! 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

It's interesting that non UK markets seem to be given build dates that are more than a month out. I don't know if these are real dates from the factory or just dealer estimates.

For the UK it seems as if the factory does an order call at the end of every month for the next but one month's production based on what parts they have available.

Has anyone with a UK order got a factory confirmed build date any further forward than July? I suspect not.

Very good news, to good to be true really… Today I was informed by my dealer that my car (P440e) will arrive to their facilities next August!

Although I want to believe it, I'm very sceptical…
