Frozen Sat Navigation om 2012 L322

Is there a secret code for mine as on some of the older L322? I have a Tomtom unit but good to have the option when that's left at home. Its an old map but not without it's merits!

grateful for any suggestions.
Dave

Hi,
Mine is unable to allow a new route after a recent journey. Adding a post code or a new address fails to activate, ie has become useless.

there are no secret codes that will solve your problem....

it could be a gps antenna or head unit problem....

i suggest getting the codes read to see if any thing pops up... ... - .- -.

another easy thing you can do is to check the battery condition and do a battery reset.

its all a process of elimination .. ... - .- -.

Hi Stan
I do that today as you say. I-pad on charge now but I reckon the car is being tracked OK, albeit on the recent route to my sons home in Cambridge. Changing settings on the unit also seem to respond so i will play with it again today. Check battery as well with winter round the corner!

Thanks again Stan
Dave

Hi Stan
I think you were on the right tract with the battery point. I tried the battery reset this morning but no change to the route problem. However my son reminded me that I ran the battery right down when I visited 6 weeks ago. Left an internal light on and we had to jump start the car. Silly me but it’s a 4hr journey and excited to see everyone etc. Something went wrong as fuse went on the cigarette light unit connected to the tomtom on the way there. One of those days?
Cheers Stan
Dave

Hi Stan and anyone with my issue with the FFRR

I have got it back in working order if not positive how exactly. I know its very out of date but still a useful tool if without the tomtom etc. on board. I disconnected the car battery for an hour, cleared the memory, previous journeys etc, and did a battery reset with the IID Tool and its "lift off".

If at first you don't succeed etc. !. Rolling with laughter

thanks Stan
