Its good in that it just does what it says on the tin. Has an AGM setting, and there are multiple connection options.

I had an Halfords one twenty years ago on my M5 and it went pop one day…

If you have towing electrics you can get a connector to charge through there.

I know folk have bought cheaper ones from Aldi etc, and had no issues. I’ve had no issues with CTEK and were recommended by Porsche too.

Agree on them being fantastic though! We’ve got 2 MXS 7 and a 3,8 that we use for charging or conditioning on cars we don’t use very often. They really are connect and forget.
