[Sold] Range Rover L322 Westminster TDV8 4.4 | |
Sold
Advert order number 211229-332
I bought this car in March to replace my old TD6 and also on the basis to replace my company car when the lease ended on 1st December. There was a chance I could squeeze the Westminster into the criteria relating to my cash allowance which has replaced the company car scheme but sadly and despite my best efforts I cannot make this work so regrettably I have to sell to find a newer car plus I already have a TD5 Defender 90 so cannot warrant three cars. As such I am now in the process of purchasing a Discovery 5.
The car was first registered September 2012 so one of the last L322's and has now covered around 125,000 miles which may increase slightly pending the arrival of the Discovery.
Totally standard and finished in Orkney Grey with black leather and piano black trim (one of the best combinations in my opinion).
Usual Westminster spec including:
Dual View screen
Illuminated sills
Heated steering wheel
Heated rear seats
Heated and cooled front seats
Park heat with remote
In addition there is a detachable Westfalia towbar with keys and rubber insert, Bovee music interface, Blackvue front and rear dashcams and a rubber loadspace mat.
The wheels were totally refurbished in March in a shadow gloss finish as per original spec.
I am the fifth owner of the car and the previous two owners were both long standing forum members who upgraded to an L405. In addition to the car being in very good condition it has an excellent full service history carried out by a mix of main dealers and independents. One of the main selling points which attracted me was the extensive preventative maintenance carried out by the previous owner which included the following:
In December 2019 at 107489 miles a full service was carried out and in addition the engine and box were dropped to do the oil drain mod done without blind drilling the block with the risk of swarf even though there was no smoking issues with the car. The starter, alternator and water pump and associated belts were changed at the same time along with the EGR gasket. On strip down it was identified that one turbo was showing some signs of oil weepage, so both were sent for overhaul. It also gained a new battery in this overhaul, the end result was the works generated a bill of just over £4k, but in the process all of the likely weak points that a 4.4 tdv8 suffer from have been addressed.
Whilst the above work was being done the underside/engine bay were extensively treated in Dinitrol.
The auto box filter and oil were replaced at 111,415 (March 2020) and it was serviced and Mot’d in January this year at 115,674 miles. I have all of the invoices associated with these works plus invoices for work done by the owner previous to the last one together with the stamped service book.
In my ownership I have repaced one rear caliper with new discs and pads and a front height sensor.
Full size spare wheel and tyre new and unused. All other tyres good.
The car is booked in for a further service and MOT on the 7th January with my local Land Rover specialist.
Looks fantastic and drives beautifully.
Minor marks here and there commensurate with age.The rear wheel arches are showing signs of slight surface rust (as with all L322's) and my plan was to have these cleaned up and treated to ensure longevity.
Comes with full handbook pack and two keys plus the remote for the park heat.
Private plate in the process of being removed.
Given the condition and service credentials I am asking for £15,995 which I believe to be fair in the current climate and considering what other examples are being advertised for. I really do not want to have to sell this but I have to keep the company bean counters happy....
Viewing in York and any other detail required let me know.
Thanks
Nick
