Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
Steering issue

I recently experienced the car pull to the right a couple of times when driving on urban roads at about 30mph. It hasn't happened since but I mentioned it to the dealer when the car went in for its scheduled service.

The dealer recommended replacing the track control arms and ball joints (parts LRLR018343/LRLR018344 and LRRBK500210) as they said they were worn.

I had these replaced in 2019 to resolve a knocking sound when turning. The car has since done 33000km (20500 miles).

Is it plausible for those parts to wear out after that many miles? 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

Did you fit LR OE parts as some of the aftermarket ones are not very long lived. Can you describe the problem - is it a gentle decentering / drift or a strong ‘snatch’ of the steering wheel. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

OE parts were fitted at the dealer.

It's not a snatch but it was a bit quicker than the decentering caused by the road camber. Quick enough to feel unusual.

I at first thought it might have been caused by a groove in the road but when it happened again a couple of miles down the road I thought something can't be right. Strange that it hasn't happened since. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black
