Alternator Maximum Output Voltage

Does anyone know what the max output of the alternator should be?

I’ve just installed my 3rd party battery monitor and after startup the alternator is pumping out 15.04v which seems a little high?

It sounds OK to me, 15v can be exceeded if the temperature is low, 15.1v being the absorption voltage at 0 degC. This is where a lot of people get it wrong when fitting an AGM in place of a standard Lead Acid battery, 'It works perfectly' yes it does but never charges fully !
