Irrespective of the timed climate, does the FBH fire up when you start the car in cold weather and the engine is cold?

Thanks for the advice. I haven’t ever noticed the FBH firing up but will look out for it starting next time it is cold enough. I have an iid tool so can read the codes and see what shows up. I’ll report back later if the temp drops enough. |

Also it won't come on via the fob or the program if the battery is not in good shape and the voltage has dropped. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Yeah, There are a few things that stop timed climate not working, but if it doesn’t come on when the car is started when it’s cold, it will never come on with timed climate.

As above with the possibility of the FBH being locked out . But as you have an iid you will be able to check for this. you will probably also have to remove and refit the fbh fuse to clear the fault. All this is irrelevant if the fbh hasnt been activated in the CCF files.. again, you can check this with iid. also there needs to be at least a quarter of a tank of fuel for it to fire up. |
