Trapped water

I washed my '14 L405 today and dried it off.
When I opened the O/S/R door a fair amount of water poured out onto the side step.
N/S/R door doesn't do this.
I would normally have suspected door drain holes being blocked but that can't be the case as it runs out with door open.
Any ideas guys?

This is a 'design feature' in the L322. There are lots of posts with solution, but basically it required a bit if wood and levering it out slightly to se-sit the door.

Sorry Dolphinboy but I don't quite understand what you are saying.
Lever out what?
The door panel alignment is perfect as far as I can see.
