Anyone know if IID can turn this off and if so where it is in the programming?

Took the shooting on Wednesday and the bong is driving me crazy. Wearing a seatbelt is not an option at 5mph off road.

from memory you stick the ignition on, and insert and take out the seat belt about 9/10 times until you hear a bong... ... - .- -.

Have a look on Fleabay, seat belt blanks, just a couple of quid, pop in , and off you go !!

Stan is right, turn the ignition on, then plug in and unplug the seatbelt 10 times and it's disabled At least it was on the 07MY cars as I had a friend that did it on his. I've never tried it on mine or the later cars though.

No need for the IID or any blanks.

It does work on the later cars and you can enable it again in exactly the same way.
You do have to plug it in and out very quickly though

worked on my 2011

Tried the insert/remove as suggested and it didn't do anything, certainly didn't hear any bong sound.

I used IID in the end and now I still have the warning in the instruments but no sound, that's good enough for me. Christian.
