Recommendations for an Indy Specialist in East Kent

I have just purchased a '12 plate Westminster TDV8 4.4 from a dealer in Middlesborough and brought it back to East Kent. Lovely vehicle in spotless condition with 80K miles bought for £17k.

But I have a couple of grumbles and would like to get it looked at by a knowledgable specialist - somebody with a beard and bifocals preferably - and spend some money on preventative maintenance. I live up on the North Downs between Maidstone and Rainham and was thinking about taking it to Freeway Service Centre on the Isle of Sheppey and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them, or any other recommendations reasonable close to home.

For now I'm pretty certain it's due suspension links and the steering rack has a bit of a moan. Also the PDC is in fault mode (long beep then flashes) There will be other discoveries!

Thanks Tinman. Good recommendation. I used to live close by in Pembury and don’t know why I didn’t think of them👍

Loving QP’s videos on Facebook. Some very sick engines in for rebuild!

Quick Update on this thread. Just spoke to Ollie at Freeway Service Centre on the Isle of Sheppey. He quoted £493 inc. VAT for full service and mega-flush which is a lot less than I expected. Booked in next Friday and while it's on the ramps he'll give it the once-over and take a look at the doinking noise that's coming from the front suspension over potholes (it's mainly potholes up here on the North Downs roads).

Apparently they will also update the LR online service history which is not something I'm accustomed to hearing from an indy specialist. Very democratic of LR!

I'll let you know how it goes - and thanks for the recommendations. If I ever need any involved engine work I'll be sure to check out QP.[/url]
