Still confusing me, maybe someone on here can help.

The rear indicators are located in the black strip across the upper tailgate. So when you are are parked with your hazard lights on and then open the tailgate they are then useless as cannot be seen……….

Hope you are well, the lower bumper has repeaters in so when the tailgate is open they are still visible

The pictured car looks like it does not have the shadow pack. The wheels and paint is black, but the accents are silver. L405 2016 - Supercharged V6 petrol 380hp

That is what I'm thinking, I've been configuring ones like that, ready for when a full EV can be ordered, but those silver bits become either black or a darker grey iirc there is still choice.

However I think it is looks stunning, well once those final bits of bling are deblinged. I hope it sounds as well as it looks.

Exactly. Unfortunately the L460 design was clearly (or not) intended to have ghetto glass, because, without it, the rearmost window is even more like a porthole than that on the L405.

Eh? I only said that's what I think a 'proper' Range Rover looks like and no matter what the spec, a FF isn't a young persons car. Mine isn't quite that spec, but not far off...and I'm balancing the age thing with the need for a car that size due to have a toddler!

So because it was 50 years ago you discount everything that the brand stands for? If you haven't already, go and look at JLR's Coventry Heritage museum, they are ultra proud of the LR Heritage.

Please don't take the mickey out of the older generation!! As for style, then I think you are definitely on dodgy ground. The further you go back the more style there was. At least we didn't have the "Celebrity/ Footballer" culture which some of these cars are obviously aimed at.

@martin2 Fair enough, yes they probably would drive them black on black on black. So perhaps we can have some common ground there then @chalky which was they were classy and stylish then, and all black is classy and stylish now

I know the prices of older cars, well the right versions at least. I've got two icons in the garage myself. And yes there are a lot of purists about, personally I think its more rose tinted glasses and harping back to youth other than true desirability. But the Range Rover lot isn't as bad as the Porsche lot at least.

But hey it is good that there is choice, I can appreciate quality but would never ever drop my own money on something with lots of chrome/shiny bits, nor tan interiors, and lack of privacy glass. Too old fashioned looking in my opinion

Blacked-out ghetto buses are surely the antithesis of “classy” and stylish, not everyone wants to look like a pound shop gangster.
