United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue
New Range Rover owner

Hi

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have just bought my first Range Rover - a 2007 4.2 supercharged in blue.
I've fancied one for a while but always found an excuse not to look. A few months ago I decided I wanted a Jaguar XJR and found one locally that seemed OK. I went to look at it and the dealer had a lot of Range Rovers and they were less money than I thought they'd be. That was it - I changed from the Jag to the Range Rover.

I looked at a couple but was disappointed.

I sold my Mazda ready for the right one to come along. I waited. And waited. Nothing. I bought a cheap X Type estate (3 litre V6) to avoid me panic buying a RR. The day after I collected my Jag, a RR came up that was exactly the spec I was after. 250 miles away! The dealer sent me a video and I got a more local company to assess it for me and it passed with flying colours. That was it - paid for it and collected it a couple of weeks ago.

I'm loving it so far. Amazing machine and goes like stink!

I expect that I'll be on here over the coming days, months, years with all kinds of daft questions.
Please go easy on me!

Good to be here
Roger

Welcome.

No daft questions on here mate.

Plenty of daft people 🤣.

Mines the longest I’ve ever had a car. Love it. Does everything you ask of it… in any weather.

I did look at an RS6 V10 when I bought my TDV8, but decided I wanted to stay sitting high up.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

Looks great, imho the best 322, as a friend said he's never seen a block of flats move so fast! Took mine out yesterday for a drive up the motorway and managed to get 21.3 mph so big smile on my face Smile

Great colour as well but I may be a little biased.

First job you should do is check for rust before you do all the fluids and servicing jobs. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

Welcome Smile

That’s a really tidy looking car you’ve got! I wanted a Buckingham Blue one but couldn’t find one I liked so settled on black in the end Sad

Looking forward to more posts and pictures as you get to know the car!
