.. Do we have a list of simple hacks/mods/upgrades/changes that can be done with the Gap tool? Thinking of things like enabling the DRL (fairy lights), digital speed read out, etc etc? 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

If you look on the GAP support pages, it lists what can be done for each model of car. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I agree with you Martin, there is no enough information. Just a list of what can be done is not that useful when it doesn't list what combination it requires.

Take auto headlights, why would that need to be set to North America. I'd never have guessed that one.

Or DRL you need to set to Scandinavia.

Little snippets, and there are many more, are very useful.

I used my IDTool to change DRLs often with no problem although a bit of trial and error and as others on here will testify I'm not the brightest light in the sky - pun intended.

And there are things, like getting the rears to be DRL, that the car doesn't support. Geoff

most here have 'played' with the idtool and have reconfigured their FF's ccf be it by trail and error or by reading threads/posts..

Surely it would be great to have them together?? I don’t agree at all that the GAP website has adequate information, it is nothing more than a list of possible setting with no explanation of what they do in what combination. Using trial and error can disable features that were working before.

But hey no, it’s your site so your choice if you don’t want it.

Yup a nuisance that is. I really don’t get who engineered that and thought that was a good idea.
