Yuasa HSB020 can it fit in 2006 S/C?

Is anyone running one of these in an early Supercharged? Does the battery box need to be modified to cope?

Yes, I have just fitted one to my 55 plate SC. It goes in easy enough. Bonnet to service mode and I remove the extra live from the bulkhead to get extra access obviously removing the +ve / -ve as well!!

I used old, folded many times, sheets to rest the battery on before offering into battery space. Looking at over 22kg, so watch your manual handling technique. 😳 Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
Galaxy 2001-2007
Mondeo Estate 1997-2001
Sierra Estate 1993-1997
Uno Turbo 1987 -1993
Fiesta 1984 - 1987

My Yuasa 019 is 5 years old next month, could soon be a case of "Bend zee knees" and pass the Asprin.

We have a late 2006, took a Yuasa 020 to the garage and they said they could not get it to fit. Had to change it for a 19. I wonder if they did not know about the bonnet service mode. Bought ours at Halfords, six months old and no problems so far.

Yes I fitted the 020 - you need to remove the connection to the +ve jump start terminal to make it fit though - it is a very tight squeeze.[/b]
