The Sat Nav in my SDV8 is constantly trying to send me the wrong way. Happened in France on a recent trip whereby it wanted to go through major towns/city centres rather than use the ring road (even though the road had been in existence for over 20 years). Fortunately we had the wife's iPad with Google Maps to chow the way.
The other day I set the destination to be a location in Milton Keynes and it decided to take me off the M1 13 miles north. I assumed it was taking me on a route to the North side of MK. But, no, it took me off near Northampton, took me on a route around Northampton before returning me to the M1 one junction below where it took me off. It's now so bad that I can't trust it. Does anyone else have this issue?

same thing happened to me , coincidently in france as well..your nav is connected to the tmc which makes the nav re-route when theres slow traffic or a hazard ahead..

sorry, cant remember what the settings are. ... - .- -.
