Why is this so cheap?

As you know I am looking around, and saw this. Its not for me, but at that price it must be knackered or something surely?

Not sure it is cheap.

- probably just plain old abused. the photos like any ad will not show the true state. The after market wheels say it all to me.

At that mileage it needs to be sub 10k just to move it on - 8k perhaps - even lower. no mention of FSH. MOT's look ok some advisories on corroded brakes but annual milaegaes look reasonable.

Go on - treat yourself. You know you wanna Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

As Ajac8 eluded too, the alloys alone would ring alarm bells with me, at least £1K to get a decent set back on before you deal with all the other stuff, not cheap IMHO Thumbs Up

It’s a 12 year old, slightly worn version of a gas guzzling engine with expensive repair bills and a high mileage. I would only call it cheap if I didn’t factor in a £5k repair bill in the first year of ownership (private sale, what’s the reason for sale, what’s gone wrong that they aren’t telling you, etc.)

As the 460 comes closer to launch, is it reasonable to expect 322 pricing to take a hit, relative to the market, as it’s no longer the older model, bit the twice removed model?

Seems cheaper then usual but we are talking dealers against a private seller so straight away there's a price difference already.

Why not go have a look n see what the score is with it. Sometimes cars like this pop up cheap simply because the owner just wants rid and there's nothing actually wrong with it

At a wild guess, he's a trader knocking out a cheap p/x.....if you look at the 'home photo' there's a lot of 4x4's in & on the drive.
Just checked DVLA site & seems he's had it since June '20 so I withdraw my earlier comment. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I did message him, asking about if the chains and guides had been changed. He replied that he had no evidence of them being done, but in the 18 months he has owned it, he said the engine is quieter than a mouse, much smoother and quieter than his Audi R8 V8.

From the ad:

“Heated steering wheel. The wheels need a Refurb i can get this done or i can include the orginal 20s aswell. The Car is NOT Perfect it has usual marks on the body. Its Priced with the mileage and condtion in mind.”

Seems to be an honest statement. Thumbs Up

If viewing worth a close look at the rear arches /sill ends; rear quarter photo seems to show quite a rusty arch? Might just be the photo.
