Schoolboy error - I replaced my faulty starter motor and it took longer to get a replacement so when I went to re-fit the heatshields I can't work out where they go or the orientation. The blog I used only showed a solid metal heatshield over the starter and a thin aluminium one. However I removed two aluminium ones as per photo. I've replaced the solid metal one covering the starter and am left with the 2 aluminium ones. They are made of cheese....
There are 4 small screws, 2 nuts with integrated washers and 2 separate washers. I've worked out the nuts with washers incorporated on screw onto the small bolts sticking out of the chassis but can't find where the other 2 fixings go and which way up it is. The other heatshield I haven't a clue!
Has anyone with an intimate knowledge of these RR's any input please as I don't want to drive it without heatshields on - I guess its to protect from the turbo/exhaust?
