let the FF sleep for a while and the message should clear......

I found locking the car with the remote and unlocking it again cleared the dash message for me.

Yep tried both of those, even used the spare key fob which I know was OK last time I used it, but still cant clear message. |

I had this when i did mine. it just seemed to fix itself after using it a couple of times 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

Just an update, bought another new fob battery today, 2032 put in fob and message cleared. Thanks for replies. |

i think Duracell are the batteries of choice here. they also give a 10yr guarantee that it will work from the packaging

Have the same issue here so will let it sleep and hopefully will clear itself. Useful system but only if it is cleared before next low battery.

I used Energiser ones. They also have a 10 year shelf life guarantee and child resistant packaging.
