thought I’d look to change the side indicator bulbs. They don’t match the rest of the indicators on the 2010 onwards models, as all the other indicators are LED. I bought the below. No issues, not too bright, same as original bulbs and the orange light matches too. You can still see them from wide viewing angles, plus the end of the bulb isn’t orange, so you don’t get the egg yolk look that the originals have.

No errors or anything….

They were from a more recognised brand name, and less than a tenner so thought I’d give them a go.

These do need to go in the right way round/with the right polarity though, so if it doesn’t work, turn it through 180 degrees and put the bulb back in the holder….

And if you are fitting to a model with orange lenses on the car, you will need a white bulb, not an orange one.
