CV boot replcement

So, I said I would post a couple of things...

So I had my new to me 07 l322 tdv8 up on my ramp today.

The outer CV boot on the nearside is split. Is there a how to on changing these anywhere? I have had a search so apologies if I have missed it. I guess do both boots on that driveshaft at the same time?

Its easy enough too change as long as you've got some decent tools.

You'll need a hub puller to separate the drive shaft from the hub.
Air compressor
Cv boot stretcher attaches to the air compressor

Once you've removed the hub, stick the boot on the cv boot splitter, open it up, pop the cv boot over the cv joint and do the inner one first, load up with grease and clamp it down. Repeat on the outer and jobs a goodun.
