FYI if anyone has weird behaviour of their steering column control, check the memory seat switch.

I was driving home in my Td6 and decided to adjust the steering wheel a bit, but whatever I did (up down in or out) it just made the wheel go down almost to the point of touching the seat. Not the best looking driving position.

Back home I turned off the memory seat option (easy access? etc) and I was able to adjust the wheel back into normal position. I think sometimes the seat memory circuit fails and then causes havoc with the rest of the car buttons as they all fight each other.
