Seem to recommend either Delphi from Autofactors or OE from Duckworth

Thanks Alistair i read those which was helpfull, i can get a discount on a pair of genuine Brembo discs which is way below buying them in a landrover box if its the same discs and was tyring to find out if the front discs which are fitted with the Brembo calipers from the factory are supplied by Brembo to Land Rover .
Don't need them urgent but as the deal is only on now i will buy brembo if thats the OE but if not when i need them i will go to Rob at Duckworth. Thanks

The grey area is that Brembo don’t manufacture discs so, the Brembo name can be used (and it would seem is unregulated) as many brands make parts for cars “equipt with Brembo” so other manufacturers can use the Brembo logo on their packaging… Euro crap parts sell tonnes of Chinese made tat in Brembo boxes! So BEWARE!

Hi Jon, I don't know if this helps, but the Brembo part numbers for the SDV8 discs are as follows:

09.A773.11 (front)
09.B504.11 (rear)

These are the part numbers from Brembo themselves. Kev

Of course Brembo make discs (in more than one location), as original equipment manufacturers and for the aftermarket. They are also very protective of, and do not license, their brand name (which is clearly not the same thing as a company selling something itself, under its own brand name, which is made to their specifications by a third party).

As for China, the vast majority of brake discs are cast there (including OE stuff). Reality is that the simplest way to get the best thing is to pay the premium and buy original parts (which, as you know, might not always be from the same manufacturer).

I was going to say the same as in the above post, Brembo have made discs in China for years, and have now just started making calipers there.

As far as made in China, it depends on who owns the factory, and who ensures quality control etc.
Recently bought a Dewalt 950 Nm impact wrench, thing is superb and made very well, only after buying it did I realise that it is made in China Shocked

I would also add, that on the few occasions that I have had to go to a LR dealer for parts, due to lack of alternative suppliers, not one of these products were made in the UK, and some of the countries involved do not exactly inspire confidence in the product.
