This is random I know…

But I bought a used intake silencer to look into modding (without damaging my original) it was off the same year car but the oil breather pipe is completely different- any ideas?

The one on mine was like the straight one and after a few years in the heat it shrunk and pulled itself off the intake, maybe the bottom curved pipe is to prevent that happening.... I'd use the bottom one...
